MAPNA's First Electric Bus on Test Drive in Tehran

MAPNA Group has put the first unit of its electric bus dubbed "Shetab" on test drive in Tehran. The e-powered vehicle joined the capital city's public transport fleet on Sunday, July 4, to pass the technical tests in the sprawling city. Another unit of the Shetab bus was unveiled in Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan Province, in early June. Shetab has been designed and manufactured by Parsan Electric Bus Production Company, a joint venture between MAPNA Group and Oghab Afshan Industrial and Manufacturing Company, which was set up in September 2020. Tehran Metro Company opened two subway stations in Lines 6 and 7 on Thursday, June 17, as part of the plans to enhance the capital’s green means of transportation. MAPNA Completes Drilling of Two Wells in Danan Oil Field

MAPNA Drilling Company has completed the drilling operations of two vertical wells in Danan Oil Field in Ilam Province. Managing Director of MAPNA Drilling Company Fazel Jamalzadeh said the drilling operations of wells 13 and 14 in Danan Oil Field, each with a depth of about 3,500 meters, were completed on Tuesday, June 16. “The flow test of Well 13 was successfully operated on the same day with a capacity of 1,500 barrels per day,” he said, adding that Well 14 will also be tested within the next 24 hours. MAPNA Group has commenced the commercial operation of the first unit of Hengam Combined Cycle Power Plant in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Province. The gas-fired unit, equipped with MAPNA’s F-Class turbines with a capacity of 307 MWs, was officially inaugurated by President Hassan Rouhani via a video conference on Thursday.
