Increasing load in power networks makes it necessary to improve their power capacity. One way to increase the production capacity of these plants is to upgrade them, which is much more affordable compared with the construction of new plants. Through upgrading projects, Mapna can increase the energy output of power plants and upgrade them to the level of enhanced, newly established plants. Upgrading and strengthening projects can also include the conversion of fossil fuel power plants to combined cycle plants or the use of wasted power to produce heat and water. Feasibility assessments on upgrading and strengthening projects are carried out before the start of the project and all the requirements and existing capacities are considered with precision in the development plan.
